1985

The company commenced its business with an initial capital of just Rs.15,000/- with the name “Maruti Travel & Cargo” in four cities of Saurashtra region. Established uniform distribution all over India. TRUST & DEDICATION, only were its identity.

Pioneers of the company had a determination of reliability of services and satisfaction of customers, with the principle of hard work and determination to climb the peaks of success, create a new path in the trade of courier services.

1986-87
Company introduced Hub and spoke system by establishing seven Regional Offices as hub centers and by continued operations became one of the leading courier company in Gujarat.

Management was fully attentive towards development. Appointed Regional Heads for business development and customer support. Opened many new branches in Gujarat, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, West Bengal, Hariyana, Goa and Assam.

All the Regional Authorities came under one roof and the company was registered as Private Limited company under The Companies Act, 1956, with the Registrar of Companies, Guajrat, in Ahmedabad on 12/11/1987.

Established Satellite Centres at remote locations of Gujarat. This is the special service being offered by us in rural areas just to satisfy customers’ need at slight higher rate as the business volume in the said areas is quite low whereas expenses and time consumption are higher due to rare facilities of transportation. Currently, we serve over 500 Satellite Points in Gujarat State.

Focused attention on development of domestic front. Entered into service contract with Bank of Baroda, Head Office, Mandvi, Baroda, (Gujarat)

1992
Entered into service contract with State Bank of Saurashtra, Head Office, Bhavangar, (Gujarat)

1993
Entered into service contract with Indian Banks Association (IBA) (Ahmedabad Local Chapter)

1994
Renewed service contract with IBA with higher rate with a view to make speedier operations, VPP services discontinued.

1995
Renewed service contract with IBA with higher rates.

1996
Renewed service contract with IBA for two years. Again entered into service contract with State Bank of Saurashtra, Head office, Bhavnagar. In order to provide faster services TO PAY service was discontinued.

1997
Entered into rate contract with Bank of Baroda, Head Office, Baroda

1998 - 1999
On completion of 15 years, company arranged for Thanks Given party and invited to all its customers for their patronage and support extended to us and enabled us to reach the pinnacle of success. We also invited feedback from our customers to render better services. Customers gave positive response and suggested fruitful rectifications. This indeed increased our business relationship with customers. As per our policy, we always invite suggestions / instructions from customers which help us to bond with customers.

The company applied for registration for Trade Mark “MARUTI” with the Registrar of Trade Mark.

Opened 10 New Branch Offices in Gujarat, Maharashtra & UP.

2000
Applied for Registration of Trade Mark "SHREE MARUTI COURIER SERVICES PVT. LTD."

2001
So many Franchises of 'Shree Maruti Courier Service' are equipped with the latest computerized facilities. Achieved the contract from leading Cellular Service Providers in Gujarat –Hutch, Airtel and Idea Cellular Ltd.

Again entered in courier service agreement with IBA (Indian Banks Association).

Get Trade Mark "SHREE MARUTI COURIER SERVICES PVT. LTD." under the Trade and Merchandise Marks Act, 1958. Opened two Regional Offices and 44 Franchises Offices across the country.

2002
Re-entered in service contract with IBA (Ahmedabad Local Chapter) during January 2002. Entered into service contract with Nationalised Banks a.f.e. State Bank of India, Bank of India, Dena Bank, State Bank of Saurashtra, Bank of Baroda and leading Corporate Sectors like Idea Cellular Ltd., Hutch and Government Undertakings like Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd. and IOCL.

Some courier agencies started misuse of “Maruti” to misguide our customers. We filed a suit against such agencies.

Opened 62 new Franchisee Offices in various states.

2003
Renewed the service contract with State Bank of Saurashtra for two years. Entered into service contract with Banks like The Ahmedabad District Co-operative Bank Ltd., Dena Bank, Union Bank of India, The Baroda Central Co-op. Bank Ltd., National Bank for Agriculture & Rural Development, The Kalupur Comm. Co-op. Bank Ltd., leading Corporate Sectors like Life Insurance Corporation of India, National Thermal Power Corporation Ltd., Hindustan Lever Ltd., Reliance Industries Ltd., Indian Oil Corporation Ltd., Gujarat Mineral Development Corporation Ltd., etc.

Opened New Regional Office at Pune. Opened 74 new Franchisee Offices in various states.

2004
Re-entered in service contract with IBA (Ahmedabad Local Chapter) in January 2004. Renewed the service contract with State Bank of India for one year. Opened 26 new Franchisee Offices in various states in first two months.

With various banking institutions, who always insist on timely and efficient pick-up and delivery schedules, bear testimony to the trust we enjoyed among highly professionalized financial institutions. We had continuous six years (1993-1998) service contract with Indian Banks Association.

The company achieved an ISO 9001:2008 Certificate for its internationally known quality service from DLIQ for the period of 23/04/2004 up to 23/04/2007. By this, we are the only one Domestic Courier company in Gujarat with a popular Brand Name, Trust & Reliability.

2005
Launched TV commercial Ad on Channels like Aaj-Tak, Headlines Today, India TV, ETV Gujarati and Doordarshan Gujarati.

Started “International Service” from July-2005 considering the requirement of its large scale market.

2006
Hon’ble High Court of Gujarat passed judgment in our favour that Shree Maruti Courier Service P. Ltd. is only the sole owner having right to use word “MARUTI” in courier business. In the month of August-2006, Public Notice was also published in various news papers for general public at large.

SBI, Local Head Office, Ahmedabad, renewed contract for 2 years approving us as an official courier for all branches of Gujarat Circle.

Opened new outlet in Rajkot and Pujya Bhai Shri Rameshbhai Oza inaugurated the same and gave his blessings.

Also opened new outlet in Porbandar and Mr. Mulubhai Bera, Minister of Employment inaugurated the same.

2007
Opened new outlets in Thane. At present, we do have more than 1300 outlets in India. This shows how large our network is !

Started “On Line Tracking System” for Fast Track Couriers in metro cities.

Renewed an ISO 9001:2008 Certificate on 07/06/2007 with UKAS, Quality Management.

Received Certificate of Registration of Trade Mark No. 863578 from Trade Marks Registry, Mumbai, for a period of 10 years.

Renewed service contract with HSBC, DCB, BOI-Rajkot, BOB-Baroda Zone, BOI ZO-Baroda, ICICI Bank Ltd, Reliance.

Entered into Annual Service Contract with BOB for Western UP Zone.

Relaunched TV Commercial ad campaign especially for Rakshabandhan festival to be shown on E TV Gujarati, IBN7, NDTV India, and Sony.

M/s. Johnson & Johnson Company Ltd. awarded us for “Best Courier Service Provider” on 3rd August, 2007.

21 new Outlets opened in Maharashtra, Pondicherry, Uttar Pradesh & Uttaranchal.

2008
15 new Outlets opened in Gujarat, Maharashtra, Delhi, Tamilnadu, M. P. & West Bengal. At present, we do have more than 1400 outlets in India. This shows how large our network is !

In FAST TRACK SERVICE SMS facility is started on 1/1/2009. in this facility FAST TRACK CUSTOMER gets SMS on delivery of consignment.

2010
Achieved national corporate Contracts from leading Nationalised banks – CANARA BANK, VIJAYA BANK, STATE BANK OF HYDERABAD, STATE BANK OF MYSORE, STATE BANK OF PATIALA.

Completed glorious silver Jubilee on 22nd October 2010 with joyful celebrations along with corporate clients, all India franchisees and well wishers at Ahmedabad in the benign presence of Hon’ble National Vice President Shri Purushottambhai Rupala, Hon’ble Finance Minister Shri Vajubhai Vala and other political and social leaders. Hon’ble Shri Narendrabhai Modi, Chief Minister of Gujarat conveyed best wishes on Silver Jubilee to the Company. The board of directors promised the clientele for more advances and international quality services to India customers by implementing latest trends internet technology in courier service.

State Bank Of India, Local Head Office, Mumbai awarded us an annual contract for Courier Service.
